Ideally, students come to class with a smile and an appetite to work and learn… But we don’t live in paradise. We work with real children, real moods and mixed abilities. Over the past few years I have run many workshops in schools and heard directly from teenagers as well as teachers what makes working together in class so hard, and when it is fun, or at least bearable.
