OUP August Conference – Brno 26 August 2026 This summer I am presenting at the Oxford University Press “For the Love of Teaching” conference in Brno. The same session also runs in Prague the following day, on 27 August. My session is called They Think It’s Just a Game and it is about exactly that: how simple classroom activities secretly build the thinking, speaking and listening skills students need to argue clearly and confidently. No debate experience needed – just a willingness to let your classroom get a little noisy. All activities come straight from my 8-lesson classroom programme. You |
