Conversation Classes That Actually Make Sense

You know that feeling when you’re assigned conversation classes and you think: what am I supposed to do with them?

You end up prepping longer than the class itself. You bring discussion questions. You try role-plays. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it’s just awkward silence. What you need is structure. Not a script, but a clear framework that builds skills systematically instead of hoping conversation “just happens.”

What this programme gives you

16 ready-to-use conversation lessons that develop four core skills:

Communication
Collaboration
Critical Thinking
Creativity

Each lesson focuses on one skill. The skills cycle and build on each other. By the end, students can participate in a structured debate — which demonstrates all four skills working together. The goal isn’t to turn your students into debaters. The goal is to give you a clear system for conversation classes that develops real skills while keeping students engaged.

Why debate?

Debate is one of the most efficient ways to develop multiple skills at once. It is not about formal competition. It is about giving students a structured framework where they have to think, collaborate, respond, and speak with purpose.

The debate at the end of the programme is not the point. It is the proof that the system worked. Students who can debate well have developed the four core skills. And once you know how the system works, you can use these skills in any conversation class you teach.
