SUMMARY:For the Love of Teaching
DESCRIPTION:OUP August Conference – Brno\n26 August 2026 \nThis summer I am presenting at the Oxford University Press “For the Love of Teaching” conference in Brno. The same session also runs in Prague the following day\, on 27 August. \nMy session is called They Think It’s Just a Game and it is about exactly that: how simple classroom activities secretly build the thinking\, speaking and listening skills students need to argue clearly and confidently. No debate experience needed – just a willingness to let your classroom get a little noisy. \nAll activities come straight from my 8-lesson classroom programme. You will leave with things you can use on Monday. \nView the full programme and register \nComing to Brno? I would love to meet you. Drop me a message at info@mathanja.cz.
